Ascendant is the first British-owned estate agency in the French Alps to become a member of FNAIM (Fédération Nationale de l'Immobilier).
A ground-breaking partnership Our aim is to provide both buyers and vendors with a professional, efficient and honest service, which is characterised by our decision to join a regulatory industry association of French estate agents. Ascendant is the first British-owned estate agency in the French Alps to become a member of FNAIM (Fédération Nationale de l'Immobilier). What do FNAIM do? FNAIM is the largest estate agency association in France and has been protecting the interests of buyers, vendors and property professionals since 1946. All members are required to have a Carte Professionnelle, to hold a sufficient professional indemnity insurance policy and provide an adequate financial guarantee. As members of FNAIM our team regularly attends regional meetings and training to ensure that we are fully aware of any new legal and industry developments which may affect your purchase or sale. Our membership and attendance at FNAIM planning meetings also enables us to contribute to and influence local policy, driving innovation in the French Alps property market. Whether you are a buyer or a vendor you can be reassured that Ascendant has been fully approved by FNAIM as well as the local French authorities and that FNAIM’s professional code of conduct is adhered to in all our business dealings. Our membership also enables us to liaise with other local FNAIM members on your behalf. If you are a buyer this means that we can speak to French estate agents to widen your property search outside our own portfolio. This allows us to propose more properties to you and reduce the need for you to tour the region’s estate agents. If you are a vendor it means that we can market your property to the clients of other estate agents in the area (with your permission), to widen the audience viewing your property, increase marketing and secure a sale.
