Easy access to your property is really important both in terms of regular flights from where you live and also access from the airport to your property once you arrive.

Haute-Savoie is well placed for buyers travelling from all over the world, being served by a major international airport at Geneva. Low cost and scheduled flights arrive from the UK and other countries throughout the year and business travellers and tourists can choose from a wide range of competitive flight prices. Easyjet, British Airways, Aer Lingus, Swiss, BMI Baby, Flybe, Globespan, and Jet2 all fly into Geneva Airport from various UK and Irish airports and last ski season alone, Easyjet carried 15 million passenger seats into the airport.

Once you get to Geneva there are a number of transport options available to take you to your resort. Ski buses direct to the mountain resorts, normal bus services to Annecy, trains, cheap hire cars, courtesy hotel bus services and private transfer services provide an excellent range of choice. All the resorts in Haute-Savoie are easy to reach – the motorway from Geneva airport runs straight through the heart of the region all the way to the furthermost resorts of the Chamonix Valley. World-class ski zones such as the Portes de Soleil, the Grand Massif, the Aravis and the Evasion Mont Blanc domain are served by this motorway and are reached within an hour of the airport. Even during heavy snow the major routes remain open, snow ploughs are out within minutes to keep them clear and ensure that winter guests can make it to their destination.

In the unlikely event that Geneva Airport is not readily accessible to you there are further international airports at Lyon, Chambery and Grenoble and a small national airport at Annecy (flights to Paris).

Ski bus timetables and prices are available to download in a .PDF file format from the Geneva Airport website. For full details (in English) on this and the other public and private transport options available to you please visit www.gva.ch
